My World

Well it is cold in Oklahoma now but this picture makes me feel good as spring is coming. The moterhome is moved up to the barn and the barn is ready and waiting for lambs to start coming next month.

I planted 30+ acres of rye, winter peas and vetch for winter grazing the girls have loved that. I found that I really love tractor time, looking forward to planting peas and turnips in the spring to flush the ewes with next fall.
I have had a new Teeswater ram collected for AI so new bloodlines are on the way. Info and pictures later.

I will be moving to Oklahoma so have a few sheep to sell.

Ystrad Grand Master Flash

Hi All
Well the semen is on the way to the US, all fingers and toes crossed.
Now I can tell you more about the rams.
Ystrad Grand Master Flash 1170-07-210, now two years old. He is a result of white and black lines. Sire Maesafon Ifor 6781 is white and from all welsh bloodlines. Dam is Blackberry 1005-05-916 is colored, two generations back there is West end Ace of Spades, not a ram that has been used in the US.

Grey Owl

I saw Beech Hill Grey Owl 1125-06-005 in person, he is a lovely blue grey, born in 2006 a real gentleman. With this ram we are going back to some of Jeanie Muddle's breeding. His sire is Beech Hill Cecil.

Grey Owl's dam 731-04-927 goes back to more Uppermill breeding. These are different rams than what we have used before, including UM Blackadder, UM Ace and UM Mercury.

Popeye

Popeye is a big black very long in the back four year old ram that has stayed black. He is related to Grey Owl but brings some good things from his dams side and I felt it was worthwhile to collect them both.

On his dams side, 1162-03-901 are some completely new bloodlines. she is out of Millhouse Boris who was out of Pastures Farm Oscar. Her Granddam is out of The Dean Misktel
